In the spring of 2014, a small group of innovative urban planners, turned data scientists, met to discuss the future of real estate data. From years working as city planners, it was clear to them that technology was transforming the way real estate was both built, bought and sold.
The path ahead for them was set by a clear call to action to answer a single question, “how could location data be used to help improve life through the built environment?”
Since then, Local Logic has built a vertical AI software that guides residential real estate investment decisions, and uses lifestyle based insights to design and build better cities. After 5 years of providing this location data to millions of real estate professionals, the team launched Local Analytics.
Local Analytics provides detailed neighborhood information for every block in the US, with 17 distinct attributes. This powerful tool supports and understands the fact that what is important to one person or organization, may not be interesting for another. It customizes and localizes these needs to provide personal solutions for every community. Local Analytics lets the user, or developer, decide who they want to solve for.
“When working with developers over the last five plus years, time and time again they told us how painful it was to lose deals after investing significant resources to assess viability. If their competitors move faster in these hot metros, and decide sooner, then these opportunities are lost,” said, Gabriel Damant-Sirois, our Co-Founder & CPO. “We also learned that developers want to align with communities and build things that everybody loves. We can help with the data and the consumer insights, and that is really exciting. To finally bring the consumer voice, big data, and AI into a tool that cuts weeks into minutes for the go/no-go research phase.”
The team is on a mission to develop a comprehensive understanding of how all cities function, and provide the data solutions that build a better future. We can do this together.
